Hi! Thanks for replying Smile

So, I would have to do visa runs every 3 months - right?

Is it quite difficult find work without a degree?

Hi Lorca;

I'm from Ottawa and I've been living here in Buenos Aires for 1 month.. I can tell you that here in Argentina they don't look for degrees or even ESL certification when you apply, they just want native English speakers.. It's very likely the same thing in Chile..

Mucho suerte,
Sabine

Hey! Thanks for responding!!!

If things don't go well in Chile maybe I'll check out Buenos Aires Wink

How long are you planning on staying in Argentina? How much work have you found? I'm from Canada as well and plan on going to South America in late December.

Late December is definitely not a good time to look for a job in Chile.

I've heard that the pay is better and the housing cheaper in Santiago, Chile when compared to Buenos Aires. I pay around 300 $us rent (1 bedroom nice neighbourhood) and i make enough to pay the rent and eat. How does that compare for argentina? Just curious,

cheers
