Finally, after months, nay, years of searching I finally have my Beach Boys Covers band together.

We're called 'It' and we don't do any Beach Boys covers or sound anything like them in any way. But we are playing Veli Bar on Hava Sok (Bar Code, Yeni Melek) tonight at 10.30. I know it's football tonight though so don't put yourself out, if tonight goes alright, we'll be playing every Wednesday.

errr. something about teaching

You give even less notice than me re: quiz nights.

Wasn't finalised till last night. To be honest, it's our first night, so we'll be ropey as you like. Not too bothered if we don't have loads of people tonight seeing as we'll be there every wednesday.

Where is Hava sokak? I was going to go last night, but all my friends were at home in their pjs when I rang them up. Are the expats in istanbul all settling down so radically? Was it always like this? I'll be there next week unless I feel inextricably drawn to pjs, slippers and ,ilky tea with cookies by the radiator.

Do you know where Yeni Melek is? It's round the corner from there. second street on the left from the Garanti bank walking towards tunel.
