I will probably try the Turkish Citizen route from the UK as I'm married to a Turkish girl.
Actually we are splitting up and I want to return to Istanbul where I worked way back in 1984-89.
Not much in the way of qualifications, some kind of postal TEFL diploma I got back in 1987, will also do an online one, but tons of experience, was even DOS at one school in I stanbul and temp DOS at an Izmir school.
Obviously these were bottom end dershane, but i prefer working in that environment. Worked the hours and made stacks of money, but accomodation was a problem back then. Hopefully I can arrange a flat share when I arrive (when?)
Ah those were the days..... three beers for a pound........... nothing open after midnight...... |
