I'm in Townsville, much to my chagrin. You'll have to check the airline websites for weight allowances, but flights going to or from the US usually have higher limits. Lan allow 8kg of cabin baggage and two pieces of checked luggage of 23kg each on flights to or from the US or Oceania (ie AU and NZ).
Which airline are you doing the Australia to LA section with? |

| Going Brisbane to LA with Qantas Aramas. I have never been to Townsville, I have a friend who lives there that loves it though. I will get on to my travel agent to find out about luggage allowances. Thanks for the heads up. |
