Hi all.. currently at home with the flu.. kind of bored but would love to hear your opinions on the President of the Boliviarian Republic where I currently reside. Namely Mr Hugo Chavez.
Is the upcoming Venezuelan election getting much coverage in the rest of Latin America?
I would also like to hear the comments of the erstwhile Ryan S, haven't had a good laugh in a few days!.

Chavez is the only leader in south america where his popularity increases with time. Isn't this suppost to be the opposite?
Anyways, you're a rich gringo. Enjoy your bougie lifestyle. |

So... last time I checked Shakira's popularity was growing as well, doesn't make it a good thing.
Uribe seems to be growing in popularity as well.
Also, what is the definition of 'Gringo' in Latin America? |

Yes Uribe is elected by 30% of the population.
And Shakira has formed a coalition government with bongo the clown. |
