 Two words: Witness Protection

But seriously, for me, it was more of a midlife crisis and it all came down to timing. Mexico is close enough that my family can come visit and I can return home to visit, but far enough away from my ordinary life. Not to mention that the food is delicious!

				| And all this time I thought Paulie was simply a forum troll. So that means you know the answer to the burning question...Is Paulie a he or a she??
I have quite enjoyed some of the entries on englishteacherx.com mentioned above by Delacosta. This linked page struck me as really comical. http://www.englishdroid.com/henry2.html

				| Oh yes I do....and as luck would have she is a fellow Canadian. How embarrassing. Recent diva sighting. She dumped her students at our feet at a private party last week, and informed me she brought them to the party so they could be "evaluated". OMG! Her way of evaluating them was to interrupt conversations, leave the students with anyone she could corner, and then demand a progress report on the way to refilling her drink. The students were carrying papers and looking nervous because they knew none of the people at this gathering. Upon discreet inquiry I learned that they were actually paying her for her teaching time while at this party. She proceeded to sit and eat, drink and be merry in true Diva fashion, without any hint of TTT!!! Brilliant. In fact, another English teacher turned up and he was as astounded as I was. It was a farewell party for some mutual friends and not a school function of any sort. | |
