Hi

I currently have a Residency Permit valid until August 07.

If I were to seek warmer climes outside China during the Winter/Chinese New Year holiday - for a week or two, would I have any problems on re-entering the country?

I realise that this has probably been discussed on a number of occasions, but I have only seen passing reference to multiple/entry/exit status of RPFs from a search I conducted.

Would appreciate any imput.

tks

Your RPF allows you to exit and re-enter China infinite number of times as long as you return to China before the RPF expires.
