hey all,

so I know there are other posts about this topic and I have read through them but still have a question:

For people from the U.S., supposedly the only way to get a visa for Brazil that is valid for 5 years is to apply for it when you are actually in the U.S.
The woman at the Brazilian consulate here in BsAs told me that, and obviously she is going to give me the "super official" answer, but I am wondering if anyone has any info. on this or knows of a way to get the 5 year visa from here in BsAs.
