| the only think I know about chaozhou is that last year I used to live in gaozhou and my mail often got lost, and was sent there instead. Watch your mail is addressed carefully if you go there. |

all i can tell you is that chaozhou is one of the most famous places in guangdong, if not all of china. |

are you kidding? i know chaozhou is well known for its food, history, and business sense, but in all of china? i dont know about that. ill ask my students today and see what they think. |

Hmmm ... famous for their mafia ... for being the smuggling capital of China ... for being China's counterfeit currency capital ... for being the market leader in just about any enterprise that produces counterfeit goods?
A reasonable person will take with a grain of salt any claim of any Chinese national that claims to come from the best hometown in the world. |
