Might be a good idea to include some of the things that would make a city the best for you; good salary, historic surroundings, night life, etc

Im concerned about the 3 things that you mentioned, plus how hot/cold does it get in summer/winter. In addition, I have a small dog who travelled here to Mexico with me on the plane, so pet quarantines and finding pet friendly housing are also issues for me.

You should make a list of priorities for yourself. No one can tell you what you need.. each of us just make priorities list on what we ourselves need.

For me.. I look at how easy the language would be.. as well as climate.. and i like big cities.. and i don't like high tourist cities with foreigners everywhere bringing up the cost of prices too much over whatever salary i might make.

but everyone is different with their interests/priorities. also if a certain country allures you in some way.. that would override all the others.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I actually turned down a job in Cancun, Mexico
by the beach and opted for San Luis Potosi, Mexico in the middle of the country because I heard that while its a beautiful place, the tourists drive up the prices.
