I am struck by two things about Jubail Industrial Academy, the first is the insincerity of their efforts to defend what amount to shoddy management practices and the second is their pathetic belief that they can come into this forum disguised as former teachers or current employees.
Do they really think they are kidding anyone except themselves? Hey, wise up, we know it's you! In management terms I have seen nothing more stupid in years. Jack the lad and jon861, it's time to expose you and open up not just why Jubail Industrial Academy 'management' ( only in the Hale and Pace sense) come into this forum disguised as teachers but who Jubail Industrial Academy really are. Your own lies, outright lies, and attempts to fool prospective new teachers demand this. This is an organization that has no idea and the only question now is how bad this outfit is going to turn out and who it injures in the process. Clearly, when teachers are asked to hand over part of their salary against breakages and when they are browbeaten into signing silence clauses and when 'management' hide behind the profiles of teachers to justify this then something is obviously horribly amiss. I took this further and called the franchise behind them, Learning Solutions- who actually warned me not to deal with the school in Jubail, call them yourself and find out! The Jubail industrial Academy management are former British Pakistani teachers at a reputable and long established training center also in Jubail, these two guys, the ones hiding behind the teachers's profiles, were kicked out of the aforementioned school due to the fact that they were incompetent. One of them even threatened to beat up a student! Now, due to their rich daddy the guys have their own school. Great isn't it? They're both still in their 20's. Let's call these pair of chumps who think they can fool everyone the 'A' brothers. The 'A' brothers, two dimwitted bozos, will intimidate you as soon as you arrive off the plane, constantly reminding you that their father owns the company. Once in Saudi Arabia you are at their mercy, the very same pair who come in here disguised as teachers. They won't tell you that they were booted out by their former employer. These poor schmucks are well out of their depth and are guaranteed to turn on teachers using a combination of bullying and extortion. The fact that one of the 'A' brothers- who knows, maybe it takes both of them tapping madly on their computer two write all that they have written in defence of Jubail Industrial Academy pretending to be teachers, calls himself 'Jack the Lad', could not be more apt, that it excatly what you are. So if you want to work for Jack the Lad and his brother, it's up to you, but there are serious places to work, the oldest provider is worth a bet, in operation since 1998 in Jubail or you could try JIC or the Navy even. But Jack the Lad and his brother, no, one thinks not. This outfit is going to go belly side up before it even gets off the ground, it's going to make DIFA look like a party. You have been warned!

YES, I am in total agreement with all the above. I would also lump LANGUAGE SOLUTIONS, LONDON, U.K - Recruiter for this outfit and various positions in Kuwait - into this box. I have previously mentioned that this is the contract that is offered to prospective teachers. Any company that can pen their name to this behaviour should not be in a positon to employ teachers. Beware

So Schubert & robertinarabia...why the hyperbole directed at the Industrial Academy? You seem to be taking it rather personally...possibly you were booted out for gross incompetence? Quite rightly so.We only lash out at that which we fear.....and you guys are running scared. It's a pity that you have nothing else better to do...I guess being on Income Support in the UK leaves you with time on your hands.

I'm an instructor here at the Industrial Academy. You have nothing to fear unless you are incompetent. So Schbert and robertinarabia why don't you update your non-existent EFL skills in Laos then come back to Arabia when you've grown up?

Robertinarabia must be working for a competitor and feeling very threatened. Why spend money and time phoning Language Solutions? Get a life....

Two reasons for the rants by Robertinarabia and Schubert against the Jubail Industrial Academy. Either they were rejected by them or they are jealous of the better living arrangements, state of the art classroom facilities and higher pay.

Actually I had opened another thread asking about Jubail Industrial Academy and all that Robertinarabia and Schubert have said has proved true. I don't believe for a moment that these are actual teachers speaking on behalf of JIA. You (all) appear to adopt this identical insolent tone, sniping at all who would dare to disagree with you.

The aforementioned docking teacher's first salary to 'cover breakages' / your 'lip-sealing' clause forbidding teachers to speak openly about your business practises (earning said teachers SAR 7000 reward) would raise eyebrows among even those who, like myself, have never worked in your company. And if that weren't enough, your manners just about finish you off.

Teaching in Mid East is a difficult enough proposition best of times but companies such as yours who openly exploit vulnerable / unwary teachers for your own gain should be named and shamed.

I would like to thank all who have contributed to my post and helped me in deciding to give JIA aka LANGUAGE SOLUTIONS a wide berth.

Here we go again, the brothers Grimm coming into Dave's using nasty language! No is running scared but prospective teachers are running away! This whole policy of intimidation adopted by the " A" brothers in their dealings with teachers and in evidence in the way they respond to posts in Dave's sums the whole mess up pretty well, a good idea, wrecked by a pair of chumps! As for going back to Britain, a nice piece of gritty social realism but maybe it's the " A" brothers who ought to consider going back to Dewsbury or wherever they're from before the lose any more of Sheikh Al Zouman's hard earned money. For teachers, beware, this outfit will intimidate you, bully you, threaten you, force you to sign outrageous silence clauses, force you to work hellish hours and worst of all, force you to work for two brothers patently unqualified, in deep water and with almost no proper experience- apart from that earned at a reputable Jubail school where they were kicked out for violence. IT's hard to see how these guys will even be able to even pay you- not just pay you on time, pay you at all. But then there's the silence clause, or simply the meaty paw of the brothers Grimm to shut up anyone who dares speak out. While it may be petty to call Language Solutions, I don't regret the call because it completes the picture. Language Solutions were honest with me and I have no bad word to say about them, they simply warned me how awry their franchisee in Jubail had gone.
To sum up, the " A" brothers condemned themselves, as for running scared, it's the best jest anyone in Jubail has heard for ages!Let's hope the students remain compliant, jeez!

Could the hacks who defend the Jubail Industrial Academy be the same persons who promote the fantasy that the Jubail Industrial College has improved ?Are they being paid for this excursion into crude fiction?
