| Greenhouse bookshop in Kadıky used to be quite good about prices. Dont know if they still are- they carry a lot more books printed in the US so, bless the weakened dollar, they often work out heaps cheaper than the overpriced British stuff at Remzi etc. I still like Pandora and Robinson Crusoe though- if they do mark up, it isnt by much. |

duh, the Middle East! Sorry, dead brain tonight. Um, don't think I'm adaptable enough - the Turkish mind is still enough of a puzzle for me.
Plus, I'm lacking the necessary experience. Maybe later. |

| Yeah, I know, dmb, but I think I'd take a reduction in salary over a reduction in sanity. |

| The great thing about Greenhouse books is that you can get a fab book and convert to Christianity at the same time!! |

| I suppose you are right, Baba. No one ever tried in any other country either. Maybe I just look unsavable. |

Hey Yaramaz, got a match?
(Insert your answer here)
It's a beautiful day, isn't it?
(Insert your answer here)
By the way, have you accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and saviour?
(Insert bemused look here)
That's the way the folks in Eugene used to do it. Usually they caught you at the bus stop.
Just so you don't feel left out... |
