| Hi my names Dan I am Canadien and I have been teching in China for the last 4 years and am moving on. I plan to move to poland for the start of the second semester. What I would like to know is what schools are looking for teachers and what differences can i exspect in poland from China. I am looking for a soft landing job. So any advice of company E-mails would be welcome. |

Hey, Dan,
I'm somewhat flabbergasted for the fact that no one has taken any time to place a reply to your post yet. As if no one would care... I'm sorry for that. Apparently, the ones who can give some more advice are still caught on the wire or beating the dead horse with more trivial threads. Here are my two cents. Go to ang.pl. There is a list of schools under szkoły językowe. Do a little research about Poland in our state.gov website or click on http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/2875.htm,
or, in my favorite, https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/index.html where you can get prime info about Poland.
Other cultural facts you can gather from others who had already posted on this forum. Just read some of the subject lines and make a choice. Things said are being constantly recycled for newcomers by the authorities on this forum. |

That's coming from someone who's managed to lock out two recent threads with irrelevant flames. Nice work. |

Dan, your use of language aside, I'd suggest just taking the time to skim through these threads as most of your questions have been answered already. A quick recap is that applying for work anytime that ISNT September means slim pickings; Polish students can be far more demanding to their Asian counterparts; soft landing jobs (where a flat is provided) will be almost non-existant mid-year, and even at the best of times they pay you so little it's much better to take a little time finding your own place.
As for emails - there is link after link on this board of places to look for work; I suggest you spend a little time reading them. |

I happened to get the last word in those two threads. Moderators locked the thread after reading the incongruous comments generated by you and some others. I limit myself to unmask the phony or the ignorant. Since you chose to fall under both categories, stop making personal attacks to me, stop deviating, and give your guidance to this guy Dan.
If you think my posts are inflammatory, feel the heat, feel me accosting. So don't ever test me again. Not even a little. |
