I'm an Aussie, working in Opole, but heading to Wroclaw this weekend. Anyone know of any bars that may be showing the first Ashes test (cricket) between Australia and England?
Cheers! |

There's a John Bull pub on Plac Solny (next to Rynek) might be showing it. There's also Highlander on Rynek where they're quite good at putting on sports on request. Other than that I'd suggest just going into pubs around the Rynek and, if they have a telly, ask them. |

| You'll need somewhere which has British Sky TV. Forget about John Bull. Try Boemerang ul. Ruska 3/4. |

| Apparently the other place worth trying is Guinness on pl. Solny. According to a bloke who writes the English language magazine for Wroclaw Boemerang and Guiness are the best bets but no guarantees. |

| Thirteen Needles, behind Empik on Rynek, is also a good bet for sports. Boemerang is a block from Guinness, which is on is on Plac Solny, in the basement of an office block. No idea about times or channels for such a girls sport but Boemerang doesnt open til 3 or 4 usually. |

Then I hate you already. Why didn't you Aussies force England to follow on?
You'll probably still win it but don't you think that was arrogant?
I jest about the hate thing. Australia are well-deserved best in the world at cricket. Humour me on not feeling happy about it though. |
