Well, thanks guys. I dont expect the AA to be worth a GREAT deal, yet it is still a piece of paper stating some degree of degree status. It seems that the appearance of formality alone is worth more than the mere 2 years of school it took to earn it. I hope so anyway.
And yes, i probably should finish the BA degree as I am rather close now, but that isnt an option, at least not an attractive one, at the moment. If its possible to work and earn enough to live in any of the countries I mentioned, even if only for a semester or two... that will be enough. Question now... what is the likelihood of finding work with those qualifications, in or around April/May next year? Is that a time when it is even POSSIBLE to find a job? (BTW, I'm leaning toward the TEFL now based on this thread, though i intend to make my way to Poland eventually, and i hear the CELTA is a better choice there... {sigh...})

Thanks again SO much for all te help everyone has offered so far! I am so new to this IDEA even... i never expected to find such a receptive and helpful community! Very Happy

Hmm... thats an interesting response, since it's contrary to virtually everything I have ever heard about the purposefulness of mere "documentation" in many other countries on all continents.

The AA really is fairly useless here in the US. Problem is, everyone knows what it is. I thought maybe lack of familiarity might increase its value in SA or overseas. Maybe not though. Question
