I'll be in HK during the silly season and have some business to take care of over the Xmas period. Are government offices and banks open for trading between Xmas and the 31st Dec. May seem like a silly question but I'm not to sure? I read in the Lonely Planet guide that HK has a public holiday on Xmas and Boxing Days. |

Remember - One Country Two Systems. HK ppl like their PHs and still have a number of the western holidays they had prior to the Handover. They used to have the Queens Birthday but that was replaced by Buddhas Birthday. |
