I live pretty close to Chicago and the entire city was depressed the day after the loss. There was definately a different feeling in the air the day before and the day after the infamous game.
There was someone in the stands with a Cubs sign that read 'Victory or Therapy,' that's how much the Cubs mean to Chicagoans and pretty much everyone in the midwest. There's some footage of an older lady in the stands wearing a Cubs hat crying when they finally lost.
There's always next year. |
