After spending most of the last year teaching at a program for foreign students in the States and slowly adding to my savings account, I am finally ready to take off for Spain! I'll be arriving in Madrid the morning of January 20 and shortly thereafter will begin my job search. I am very lucky to have an apartment already, in the north of Madrid, a ten-minute walk from the Plaza de Castilla. Once I've unpacked and settled in a bit, I'd love to meet anyone who lives (or works) in my neighborhood or anywhere reachable by public transportation.
