Why are all Ulker ads so cheesy?

They all have the same- it is supposed to be a joke theme- but they are all just cheesy.

I just can't belive they stole that bloody miaowing from the old '80s cat food ad, for Meowmix (or am I just imagining things, justme?). They had the exact same cat noises, I swear.

It once had lyrics even. Sing along now, in a cat meowing voice: 'I like chicken, I like liver, Meowmix Meowmix please deliver...'

In the original, wasn't Boomer that robot dog? Or was he Starbuck's friend? This is digging pretty deep into childhood memory. I just know we were so into 'Battlestar Galactica,' my brothers and I, we named our dog Starbuck. Then he died of distemper and his replacement was Starbuck 2. I think both Starbucks were way better than our Airdale named Jamie, after the Bionic Woman.

In the pilot of the new one, there was a kid who looked just like the kid in the original, same haircut anyway, but they didn't go anywhere with that. And it interests me that they address all superiors as 'Sir' regardless of gender.

I was trying to find the song. This is fun...And yes, the cats are dropping hairballs on you. The good thing, though, is that you get nine lives.

What do you think of the new Battlestar Galactica, Thrifty?

Love it. I have seasons 1, 2 and 2.5 on dvd.

Have you any idea when season 3 will be out on dvd. I heard that there is a spinoff-New Caprica.

^thrifty, by looking at your lower case 'i' my guess is that you're wintering in Istanbul. Correct? If so, why not come and teach Baba a few beach boy songs tonight?
