So just got registered today. A task that took 10 minutes took 2 hours. If it wasn't for my flatmate I would've walked away empty handed. But after 2 hours of sheer persuasion, begging, incredulation and astonishment I finally got the god-damned document.

They seemed to suggest that registration should be something that should be done within 24 hours of landing in Poland and that a delay of 60 days is entirely unacceptable. In fact they would only first consider a registration document for the next 30 days.

The fact that:
you need to find somewhere to live
find a job
and settle down for a little while
seems to escape the bereaucrocy, or the idiots that dreamed it up.

To be fair - its the rules they have to enforce that are the b4st4rd, the people were willing to help. They helped by saying - you've said to many wrong things. Please go to my colleague in the next window who hasn't heard your conversation and start again saying the correct things. Such as:
When did you arrive? Yesteday. (Even though this is plainly and obviously not the truth). Once you go to enough colleagues and answer the questions with the correct responses they're quite willing to help. It seems to me they know the system is farce but are helpless to do anything otherwise.
