So happy you butchered all grammar and spelling in the title?
#3. And you obviously haven't listened to our advice in the past. On your WHV at Nova, it's 6 months + 6 months. |

Sure I'll bite, why not contribute to a happy Nova thread...
My answers are all in the past, as I finished working for Nova about 8 months ago.
1. I worked at one of the flagship honko schools in Tokyo. Big place, about 30 teachers full-time and a handful of part timers.
2. I arrived in April 2005.
3. I plan to stay in Japan for about 3 years, but obviously not all of my time will be with Nova.
4. I interviewed in Tampa, Florida. |

I doubt there are many new applicants on these boards. Most are bitter, cynical lifers with superiority complexes and will tear apart anything you say.
Could be worse though |

Oh, and regarding your request for info:
1. 2 years in Tokyo, now in Fukuoka.
2. Never.
3. Until they kick me out.
4. Toronto. |

Thanks all
I hope you get accepted too but read the forums on the interview process cause it did help me alot ! Although I forget where it is so do a search and you might find it
Oh , and don't mind canuck, he'll try to nit pick any situation to the point of making it sour, don't let these people ruin the moment. I didn't see any point in adding that comment at all. It's not even contructive critisim it's just .....pointless. What benefit am I getting from that previous comment....notta.
But I will tell you i was so excited to write this post that grammar or worrying about how much longer i would stay, were the last things on my mind. It's like correcting the grammar of a lottery winner ......why?
PS: Yes going to another country working at Nova is like winning the lottery or even better. |

Nice lottery. Yeah, "contructive critisim" (sic)
I provided you with information about question #3 and have directed you in the past about the search function, and answers to many of your past questions. Enjoy your working lottery and your interest ticking debt in Canada. That said, I wish to share the excitement!

John,
It's actually refreshing to see someone as excited as you are about going to Japan. I hope the positive energy you have now lasts throughout your time here. If you ever feel less than genki about life in Japan, do your best at that time to remember how you feel now. Might even want to video your some of your current celebration.
Along with Ali I'm cracking open a cold one now (Yebisu in your honor, John). Kanpai! |

Hey John, congrats!
I know exactly how you feel, I'm heading over to work with Nova next month. My visa work just went though, and I found out where I'll be.
1. Oyama, Japan
2. January 2007
3. At least one year.
4. Vancouver, Canada
It's less than a month until I leave! I can't wait!! |

1. If I wanted your opinion I'll ask for it I really don't need help from someone who presents himself is a negative cynical person.
2. Your not following the the thread topic. Share the excitement...not share saracasm and give information i already know......
3. I read posts more than i actually post and I've noticed your posts are very high ...why? Well let the last comment be the judge of that one
4. Do you have a girlfriend ? WOW...... |
