Now on to other things, this may seem weird, but as we all know I am weird so; not to say that anyone has don't this but what is the low high and average price one might pay for a girl here it runs from a low of 200,000 for locals to 400,000 but for bule its 500,000 to 2 juta, this is a project for a study I am doing.

Sounds like a business opportunity, happy_me! Wink

On the topic of Bogor, I will be there for a few days soon and was wondering if there are any good watering holes to down a Bintang or 10. Last time I was there for a brief visit it looked dead (an islamic wonderland) and even restaurants were dry zones.

There is a small joint owned by an English fella called Salak Sunset Cafe. Not a bad place... a couple doors down from that was a small billiards place.
There is also a bar in a hotel - can't remember the name - it's on the same road as the EF and not far from it, across from the Gardens... they used to have live rock shows on the weekend and reasonably priced beer.

Yp.. Sunset cafe it the place, nice place to just chill. the food was soso when i was there but maybe better now.

never sayed i pay that! its only for the silly who think they are rich and own the place, i was skoked to here someone i know got 1,000 US from some one, guess he was thinking "i am helping her" but what he didnt see was what she did with the $$ and how she told her friends how easy it is to get $$ from bule.

had a chat whit my project manager for some time on this, but for the time being it's just me personal project, however it dose reflect on the (OGM) oil gas and mining and the effects they have on the local people and there life

Happy Chirsmas to all....

i highly doubt that the free spending guy really cares what she spent it on and what she told her friends.

Papua, Its cus I need the LPG to fire my potato gun at the guys who over pay.I call it a flaming spud. Laughing

Beefer, I think they pay so much cus they feel sorry for them and want to help, or maybe they have just way to much cash and no idea what to do with it.

I got a contract from a school that clearly states that they will hold the passport and the teacher must pay 100% of the visa (1,750us) if they do not complete the year and a fantastic med. Plan that gives 5 juta a year . Makes me want to run right over.

I live in Bogor - have done for a number of years. I like it here personally and I certainly can't agree about the traffic being as bad as Jakarta. I never hit any traffic in my daily life here.

As for EF Bogor. Before the Swara group got their hands on it it was a nice school to work in although the money wasn't too good. Now they work you to the bone and offer very little incentives. The teachers there currently are an ok bunch, but I would personally not recommend working there.
