Anybody have any comments on an organisation called European Center?
Their information is very intersting and sounds very well organised. Is it? |

Although scope for individual initiative was allowed, I found that it was organised with the precision and panache of a guards regiment. The director's sway is absolute in its benevolence. |

It is truly the best place to teach at in Jubail. There is not much competition for that accolade though.Salaries are paid, students are decent
and there is no corridor watching thought police under a greasy Pole. |

Thaks for that.
I will put a more effort into chasing them up. Positive reports are a good thing. |

Turn your irony meter on for Rennekampf's posts, and consider how much direct knowledge of the EC James Joyce has. |

Yep, for all apart from money Spain, Italy or even the UK will beat Jubail any time. Mind you, I think the post was about the EC/Al-Rajhi. |

Yes, extremely well organised so I hear. However, long hours because you have to teach in-house company courses. Accommodation's OK provided you don't mind who you have to share with. Run by a guy called (MOD edit). Unusual name but who cares if the work is bearable.
(Avoid using names since this is a public board - MOD) |

Now is the season of good cheer. There are no Greasy Poles or Chesterfield
Weasels at this E.Center.The guy who runs it is a true gentleman and an
intellectual. |

The information pack the center supplies is excellent. No where else has supplied anything remotely relevant ro informative.
Having spoken with the director he appeared to be a very honest and sincere man. Answered all my questions and didn't appear to be hiding anything from me.
We shall see what happens.
It's interesting too see that some people sound jaded with the place and yet others appear to think it's an ok place to work.
If you read the other forums for places like Korea. People only say bad things there. |

Some places are great and some are snake pits.

Is the European Center still in business?
They promised to send me an email after the 3rd with more information but they never did. I have emailed them again but alas there has been no reply.
Strangely enough their initial emails were delivered to my spam box on GMail. Not sure why that happened.
Are they still around? |
