To all the Indonesian ESLers, and to you too TP, freezing to death in England. At least you are enjoying fine beer and won't have a formaldahyde Bintang hangover in the morning. Savour the cold: you'll soon be back in the neverending heat of Indonesia.

Christmas joy from the PRC, where I have to come to work on this hallowed day (although I am now going to sneak off for six hours).

And festive greetings from K.L. where the teh tarik flows and the weather is mercifully clement this yuletide.

Hi Y'all
Merry chrimbo from southern China,
the beers not great but it beats bintang , and I dont get woken up til 8.30
When I took a girl out last week, I asked her , in passing " what do you think happens after you die?"
"I dont care." She replied. How refreshing.
have fun kids, I'm just up the road, so I'll pop back as and when I can.
P.
Oh, and HOW good was christmas eve in Erlas goddamn poxican cafe?

Bet it's not as cold as here in Scotland where I stepped off the plane into minus 6 centigrade and got the shock of my life!
I was getting into the taxi to the airport when I realised that flip flops probably wouldn't cut it and had to go on a mad scramble for proper shoes. The only ones I had being knee high stiletto boots made in Bali, that set all the alarms off in Amsterdam and resulted in the most invasive pat down I've ever experienced. Still it gave all the boys in the x ray queue a bit of a thrill so can't be all bad. Don't forget to put your balsam into a zip lock bag!
Happy New Year to you all, now how can I get all my Irn Bru onto the plane back...?
