Xiamen vs. Zhuhai.
I believe both play in the second division. Zhuhai are looking strong this year and they are near the top of the table. Xiamen, who were promoted from the third division, are bottom feeders and are flirting with relegation yet again.
I would pick 3-nil for Zhuhai.

Both are some3what freewheeling as they are Special Economic ZOnes where the provincial authorites have very little sway. Read that thread about the prostitutes in Zhuhai that entertained Japanese business visitors!
Personally, I like Zhuhai because of its ideal location close to Macau and Hong Kong, and because it is spacious and clean.
Xiamen is not bad either, a little more "Chinese", more historic re that lovely island Gulangyu with its beautiful colonial-style mansions and car-free alleys!
CLimate is almost the same in both places, warm to hot all year round, with a few cold days in winter (Xiamen a little cooler). |
