HI,
I know we aren't coparing apples with apples here, but I need a base in Europe for my online work (its easier for me to be based there) and am tossing up with Italy or Spain, Milan or Barcelona.
Has anyone lived in both places that can shed a bit of light on the pros and cons of either? Costings, social life ( I'm single 40 year old, female) any info would be apreciated.
I'm in Thailand at the moment and thinking its time to move on, not a big lover of things going bang near me !
Cheers and happy new year |

I spent three months in Barcelona and frequently visited Milan when I lived in Torino. Although you would be closer to big businesses in Milan, Barcelona is much more beautiful, cheaper and more fun. If location doesn't influence business success, I think you'd be crazy to move to Milan! |

I've been to both and wasn't that taken with Milan. Barcelona seemed to have a lot more to do as well as being cheaper so I'd go there if I were you! |
