Why were Spain allowed to enter the EU (in the mid 80s) while this 'sport' continued?
This suggests there is precedent for allowing countries that condone barbaric treatment of animals to join the club. |
Yes, it does. In 1974, when the UK became a member of the EU, Paki-bashing was the most popular sport in England. Also hunting, a favourite sport among the ruling class in Britain, has only been recently banned in the UK and the new law is still being ignored. |

Why not go back as far as 1967 when the NF was formed in the UK. I haven't looked up any stats but I am sure football, cricket, rugby, netball, swimming, fishing blah blah blah were more popular. Prove me wrong.
Doc, we may got heated at times on this forum and argue but I am sure I speak for all, there is no desire for racism here. |

When I first arrived in the Gulf I met one of those old colonial chaps and the first thing he said to me was along the lines of
*posh english accent*
" my dear boy there are two types of racism. 1 is born out of ignorance and 2 is from experience. Living here you will fall into the latter category" |
