Is that what that bollox was?

BBC Prime-what a shambles. They couldn't even put anything decent on at Christmas. Masterchef, as time goes by-Godawful.

Our men were probably out doing ten pints and talking about some crap football game.

I agree with Thfifty. Watched it for about 10 seconds. Decided to watch Borat instead. Have you seen it. That is one funny film.

I'm really not into opera or musicals in any way. I guess it goes back to my childhood when my mother would always drag me down to London to some crappy andrew lloyd plebber west end musical..... all I wanted to do was stay with my mates and play football...... jumpers for goalposts, etc

You are not missing much except Masterchef. It's got a new format and quite cool. I know you'd like it.

Now Ba don't be like that, just because he's another member of the Ollie clan .btw he does cook a great goose !
You guys missed out on the opera ,it could only happen in the uk ,staging an opera in the middle of Paddington with all the daily commuters there two and froing ,an orchestra,a couple of choirs and Charlton Athletic and even Chelsea got a mention.Part of me wanted to change channals but I knew masterchef had finished and it just drew me in ,I don't think there was a dry eye in the house when the whole population of the train station broke into song with " Nusan Dorma" .Unique, totally unique, you all missed a magic moment akin to your team winning the cup .

Depends which team you follow. I have a mate who is a Yeovil Town fan.

Ok, I lied Ollie, I watched it for more than 10 seconds.... about 2 minutes. I tried to watch it 'cos I read good reviews about it. But we all live in a hetrogenous society and we all like different things. Each to their own. (Can you tell where I am going with this)

Ollie, I am glad you enjoyed the opera and I hope there is more of this kind of program on for you and like minded people...... but not at the expense of football. Wink But somehow I can't imagine tv8 showing any opera

Ollie, have you become a mod and deleting any thread which gives info about watching football on turkish tv? A tv schedule was deleted.

WTF

Is football now a banned subject on the Turkey forum?

if so then footie fans in Turkey. if you want to know which games are on go to www.tv8.com.tr and at the top of the page there is a flashing banner, click on it and it will give you the times and days of football on the telly. If you can't understand Turkish then send a pm to Ollie and I am sure he will help you with translation.

And there was me thinking that this forum was about making life easy/better for people living abroad Rolling Eyes
