I am looking to spend a year or more in CR starting next month but I am wondering if I will be getting there too late to be hired on to teach for the school year. If anyone knows what the hiring is like in Feb. please let me know.
Also, I am looking to do some volunteering in the conservation field as well but I'm not sure how that will work if I am teaching. Is it possible to do both? Has anyone had any success w/ conservation and teaching (without paying fees)??? Are the hours too intense to do much else or is a relaxed approach to teaching?
Any advice is appreciated!! |

January is definitely better than February, but you still shouldn't have much trouble landing a teaching position that month. Of course, I say that without knowing your experience/credentials... |
