I'm living in San Pedro, San Jose at the moment. I'm a native english speaker, I've got a TESOL cert and experience in education and I'm up for a long term contract.

I've emailed out copies of my CV and dropped it into a couple of schools. I'll be checking the classifieds and looking for more schools to call in on.

Thought I'd give this a try...

Anyone know of anywhere hiring at the moment...name of school, address/location, phone number, email?

I believe most of the schools are still closed for holidays, aren't they? You might get more responses in a week or two.

Yeah I thought that might be the case and I live in hope, but I also thought I might hear something before term started, since at home schools like to have teachers in place before the classes start...

That's not meant to sound facetious by the way. Smile

If you are interested in teaching English at a private university, you should try contacting ULACIT right away. I just spoke to my director at ULACIT, who told me that he needs to hire more teachers for this term now. Contact Sr. Jimmy Hernandez

Butler Academy in Heredia is currently hiring. Good pay, don't have to travel off site all over San Jose, and advanced students. If you're interested, email your CV to [email protected]

Just a thought...
