Not to be confused with Guyana.
Not to be confused with French Guinea.
Guyane
"French Guiana (French: Guyane franaise, officially Guyane) is an overseas department (French:dpartement d'outre-mer, or DOM) of France, located on the northern coast of South America. Like the other DOMs, French Guiana is also an overseas region of France. As a part of France, French Guiana is in the European Union, and its currency is the euro."
Unless you have EU citizenship, and already have a good command of the French language, I think it would be extremely difficult to work there. Also, much of the "French" most people speak there is a patois, like in Haiti. |
