FGT, you seem to be, in spirit at least, a child of the late 60's and 70's, judging by your film choice.
Howzabout these (not a definitive list, by a long margin: They're ones that come to mind)
Excalibur
Pulp Fiction
The Hours
Withnail & I (although the script, if you can find a copy, is much funnier than the film)
Life of Brian
Uzak
Rocky Horror Show
Young Frankenstein
Blazing Saddles
Outland (High Noon in space, with Sean Connery giving a surprisingly restrained performance)
LOTR: The Two Towers and Return of the King (masterpiece battle sequences which will be influential for years to come, although the trilogy of films can be seen as having several layers of meaning)
Flash Gordon (An act of total camp brilliance - How can ANYONE get away with saying 'Flash, I love you, but we've only got 14 hours to save the Earth!', or getting Timothy Dalton to say 'You Bloody *beep*!' in such a crap way - but only to be watched while drunk or in the thrall of interesting herbs, and making sarcastic voiceovers)
Hababam Sinifi xxxvi (Kemal Sunal's supreme and sublime acting as a horse-faced git taking it to new and unexplored depths of inanity)
Anything with Hulya Avsar (her utterly expressionless, dead-eyed flat performances are surely a post-modern take on the whole business of acting)
OK, I'm staring to lose the plot now...

thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou! I left my old copy in Istanbul when I left. The director's descriptions in the published version are brilliant: 'Jesus Christ, there's a huge woman on the end of the bed!'; 'I'm not going to say much about Presuming Ed, because he doesn't say much, except that he's absolutely huge and as black as your hat'...
