I love reading blogs from people in Japan who are currently there. Anyone here keep a blog or know of a good one?

Also, I intend to keep one myself while there. Good way to chronicle my adventure and have a scrapbook of sorts. If you would like a link in my blogroll for your blog, do let me know.

Thanks!! Smile

I keep one through myspace though I admit it is not very good. I also love reading people's blogs so anyone else who is keeping one should post a link in here.

Come out, come out where ever you bloggers be! Come one, come all!

NorthofAmerica - Loved the pic of the girl servicing a McDonald's drive thru OUTSIDE the restuarant. Different to say the least.

It's so inspiring to me to see Japan through the eyes of others and see their experiences. Lord knows what I'd end up posting!

I do have a blog at http://feisty-red.blogspot.com/ now but it's a rather mundane daily life sorta drivel. Eh, I have nothing to write about now.

My myspace is here if you are curious: http://www.myspace.com/fiesty_one

I don't live in Japan but my blog is www.samzondervan.blogspot.com . If you go into the archives you can read about my experiences teaching in Thailand. As I'm hoping to move to Japan some day, the blog of course will reflect this move.

Although Planet Kyoto hasn't been updated much lately, there's a long list of other Japan-related blogs in the blogroll on the righthand side: http://www.planetkyoto.com/nils/

Also...
- Japundit (though I often disagree with their politics): http://www.japundit.com/
- What Japan Thinks: http://www.whatjapanthinks.com/
- TV in Japan: http://www.tvinjapan.com/
- the TESALL news ticker (contains some ads, but also a good roundup of TESOL-related news articles): http://www.tesall.com/ticker.php

All of the above are available on Livejournal.com and other services as RSS feeds.

I like Laughing_knees an intelligent blog with good writing and and great pictures, Blue Lotus about food and eating, and The Blog from Another Dimension for technical stuff about computers and some useful links, as well as the great Pureland Mountain for life, philosophy, poetry and topical issues. You can google them easily.
