Hello all, I just joined the discussion list. I am moving to Costa Rica for at least a year for a Master's program. I want to go early and gain fluency in the language. I am planning on doing a language school on the beach b/c I will be studying inland in Ciudad Colon. So after doing much internet research I am drawn to Intercultura- Samara or the other Spanish school in Samara.
Does anyone have anything to say about the difference of quality for these schools?
Or does anyone know/recommend other Span. schools near the beach?
I don't want to be around touristy places but if it is the only way to do Span. school near the beach I will do it this way anyway. I am interested in being close to everyday Tican people. I would love to get some feedback from some you with experience in CR! |

I've heard really good things about CPI. They have schools in Heredia (where I live), Monteverde, and Playa Flamingo. From what I understand you can choose where to study and how long - but you would want to double check that with them.
