Anyone have any information about or experiences with "Connecting Schools"?

On the surface it seems like a fairly decent opportunity to improve my Spanish, but I am automatically a little suspicious of anything with a programme fee. I've done a quick google search, but couldn't find a great deal. If you have any advice, let me know.
