Does anyone know how likely it is that a school in China will arrange my airfare? china seems kind of hit and miss versus Korea where this seems pretty standard.
anyone have insight on what % of jobs will take care of this and if there are certain types of schools that are more likely to do so, such as universities or private schools...

| It should be a standard part of any deal. I worked for one place that did an 8000 bonus for a year, 4000 for a semester: much the same thing. |

Schools will do it but you have to pay your own way over and get reimbursed as above, if you stick it out.
If you don't stick it out of course it will, effectively, be cut off... |

Unless you are teaching a subject that is highly in demand, i.e. law, physics or something of that nature - then the standard practice is to reimburse you at the end or middle of the contract.
Yes, in Korea it is a practice to fly you out at the school�s expense but China does not typically do that.
There are exceptions: I am in Florida and the company I will be working at just sent me a round trip ticket from Florida to Hong Kong to work with them � but I ain�t gonna be an ENGLISH MONKEY� |

Hope he doesn't run out on them like he did the last company that paid his airfare upfront. |

Hey i made a mistake leaving that university, I admit it. But this contract is only 3 months so I can stick it out even if I am not Mr. Happy or Longgang really sucks. |
