I am going to be in Cambodia in April for a vacation and plan on moving there in Aug/Sept to teach. I am wondering if it makes sense to drop off my resumes in April or if it would be better to wait until I actually move there? I worry that if I drop them off in April they will be lost of forgotten in the months between. Ideally I would like to have somthing lined up before I make the move. I was there in Oct of last year and met with two schools just to check out the conditions and requirements. Both schools seemed surprised that I was meeting with them without actually looking for a job. Any advice is appriciated.

Have you posted this in the Cambodia forum where you are likely to get more responses from people in your situation?

The Cambodian forum is dead. Go to Khmer440.com and you'll get many replies to your questions. You'll also get flamed. The ratio should be about 2:1.

Thanks. I have posted stuff on the Cambodia board with little luck on the responses. Love the Homer quote by the way.
