Or the fish they call them. Where are Boston. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH. Boston is a better city than Miami and the team has more history. It sucks. It really sucks.

Personally,I am glad that baseball is finished. There is too much baseball on tv in Japan as it is and the media seems to be fixated with the Japanese players.Time to give it a rest imo.

So true!!! Between innings, we see Matsui sitting on the bench, Matsui scratching various body parts, Matsui staring at the ground, etc... Sure, he's a decent player, but sheeesh, enough is enough!

I am always sad to see the season end. Whatever will I do until spring training?!?! (uh, get a life, maybe???)

I wish I had your problem. No World Series was on TV where I live, so I had to follow it online. Actually, there was only one game, Game 7 of the Yankees and Red Sox, but then NHK kept cutting in for 20 min. at a time to give the weather and news update. Twisted Evil

I also hate the way they focus only on the Japanese players too. They show every pitch that Ichiro gets, but then don't even mention if the Mariners won or not. Mad

Hey! Sounds like coverage of the Olympic games in the U.S. No American playing? No TV time for you, fencing!!! The Americans who do play suck? No TV time for you, badminton!!!

It's like that in China to some extent, too. They've been showing a lot of replays from past Olympic games lately. It's always a Chinese player (usually ping pong or badminton) against a foreigner--very often a Swede or Dane, for some reason. Guess who wins? There's always a Yao Ming report on the nightly sports news if he played that day. But they do show NBA games even if Yao Ming and his Houston Rockets are not playing.

Every nation is the most important to itself. It's annoying sometimes, though.

Oh! I just remembered how furious I was during the 2000 Olympics. It was some track and field event--a race, maybe the 800? Can't remember if it was a heat or the final. Anyway, a guy from Algeria won, but the announcers never even mentioned his name. They spent a good five minutes showing and talking about the American who came in second, though.

The Giants AND the A's got knocked out!!! I was heart-broken... Yeah, I know it's kinda not pc to like both, but I'm an immigrant northern Californian (up from the south, Padres territory), so surely I must be allowed to.

Hi Denise,
Yes, the Giants and A's (they're amazing because they keep losing good ballplayers) got knocked out of the playoffs! Shocked
S**** the pc, don't worry about it. Smile Cool, I'm also from Northern California. I saw the Giants play at their beautiful ballpark last Summer. Wink

As a yankee fan, I am mortified. How embarrassing...to lose to fis!. I give my apology to my brother, who is a Red Sox fan, and all red Sox fans, for having the lack of shame to beat the red sox and then lose to the fish..arrrgh. I feel sick
