Have been teaching in China for a year now, and we are currently looking to teach in another country, but we do not have degrees.
Is there a list of countries where you can work as a TEFL teacher if you have no degree.
Or anybody else experiencing the same problem? |

One person trying to find work without a degree is tough. Two people is tough squared.
Are you eligible for working holiday visas? If so, try Japan. Good for one year. |

Sometimes when I get depressed at not having a masters or a ph.d I realise that some people don't even have a bachelors; strangely enough I still don't feel better.... |

Indonesia is one possibility.
In some places in Latin America, you can find entry-level teaching work without a degree if you have a TEFL Certificate. |

I would scratch Thailand off of that list. They are getting tough on issuing teacher licenses without degrees. In the past, school have fibbed on their paperwork in order to push through applications by teachers without degrees, but right now two teachers are sitting in jail because this.
Avoid teaching in Thailand at all costs. |

European countries generally don't dictate that teachers must have a degree to get a work permit. So, otherwise qualified candidates can usually find positions. The drawback is if/when the teacher wants to advance out of newbie level positions in the field. That usually requires further official study and qualifications. |
