Hey all,
In a month I'll have my TESOL certification from Teflinstitute.com. I've paid a lot of money for it and gotten certified, I don't want to spend more money just to volunteer. Are there any organizations out there that are safe, reputable, and offer free placement to certified Wnglish teachers in Costa Rica? My dad says I can't go unless they are reputable, I can't just apply for a random job. |

IMO, "free placement" means that they will send you to a place where nobody wants to work. Check out naturegirl321's list of schools on another thread here, as well as any other lists mentioned: they should give you some idea about which schools are reputable and which aren't. But really, the best way to find out who is reputable and who is not is to come here first, and actually visit the schools on the lists. Then you can choose the best one, rather than being stuck with whichever one you arranged things with before coming here to Costa Rica. |
