From an email I received from TESLJob:

Quote:
I have been applying for TEFL jobs all over Mexico and have therefore
registered with many web sites that include my CV and email.

1) Campeche, Mexico - a supposed school for disabled children from
which a Doctor with the institution he called Bethel Home for
Children. He contacted me and led me through a 1/2 hour phone
interview in which he had me perform various mouth and tongue
exercises (Yes, lol, it's true!) to help me understand the various
physical disabilities the children had related to cleft palates and
other neurological conditions. I thought it was strange- but I sent
him my credentials and photo of my passport--He called me again a few
days later, questioned me about my bachelors and masters and efl
certificate and asked me again to do various physical therapy type
actions over the phone again and I finally asked if this was a scam,
to which response, he hung up. CREEPY.

I obviously can't validate this one way or the other, but thought it might be of help.

This scam has gotten a lot of press around the net, including a sticky in the Newbie forum, regarding a man who switches names and locales frequently. Thanks for posting Jizzo.
