Anyone familiar with Berlitz School (Wroclaw specifically) or the Berlitz Method?
Seriously considering working for Berlitz in Wroclaw, looking for any advice/past experiences.
Has anyone been through their recruitment process? |

I had 3 interviews with this school in Poznan while I was looking to move there from Leszno. They never told me what the wage was untill the end. It was only 22 zloty per teaching hour and no other benefits such as housing. Needless to say I never took the job as my current job in Leszno at the time was much better, 35 zloty an hour and 500 zloty per month for housing. Living in a big city does have the benefits of providing more private lessons though. At the time, I had developed contacts with other business people who offered interesting work not related to teaching but just sending english emails to their potenial clients in the Uk. |

i did.
i start their training next week, currently searching diligently for an apt. near downtown. surprised how tough apt. hunting has been. i was in Wroclaw on thursday, i really liked it. not too big, not too small.
i was offered much more than 22, and get a pretty significant raise after my 500th lesson. no assistance with housing, but as long as i get 20-25 lessons per week, i'll be just fine. met with the director this week as well, very cool woman. |
