| How can I get one with an American passport? I don�t want a visa that is from my employer. I want to have flexibility. I have family here how have their own businesses that maybe can help me with any process that immigration requires. Any advice. Thanks. |

| I don�t know what visa you are on at the moment, but why don�t you get your family to give you a "contract" and apply for a work visa (eventhough you don�t necessarily have to work for them). If you mention the family connection, you will probably only have to wait for a year before being able to apply for "residencia definitiva". Thereafter you will be able to to what you want. |
