Hello,
I have been working for a company in Madrid (Spain) for almost two years teaching English via the Internet and telephone. I have taught and am teaching all types of employees including directors of major companies.
I have a keen interest in Russia and the C. I. S, and would like to know if anyone could put me on the right tracks to finding a company there who hires internet/telephone ESL teachers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been doing this since last May from here in Cyprus with adults working in France.Although the idea was supposedly very promising ,according to the person who started the company, the results so far have been very limited and I have made peanuts from it.Most of the students have their lessons paid for by the firm they work for and frequently miss them due to other commitments or just stop without warning!I cannot see this working with Russia at all quite frankly, especially as the use of the internet there is still limited to a small fraction of the population and Russians tend not to use it as frequently as we do anyway. They also prefer face-to-face lessons and are unlikely to agree to someone teaching them by phone from overseas.I am able to make cheap calls abroad from here using 'voice-over' via the net, otherwise it would not be viable at all.
Hope this info. is useful.
