Sorry this is quite off-topic, but anywayS, I just wanted to express my opinion, ever since I first saw his posts, that Gordon has the best (prettiest) icon attached to his name. Its that stunning picture of Moraine Lake's deep blue water. It's always been one of my personal choices for one of the most beautiful places I've ever been too.

If you want to see more angles of Moraine Lake check this link:
http://www.reggie.net/album.php?albid=187

But I think the image in Gordon's icon looks more clear than the ones on that link. Whenever I feel blue (as I sometimes do) I look at a picture of Moraine Lake's deep blue waters that I've kept, and I somehow feel a little better afterwards...

Cheers!
Cool

After a recent discussion about avatars and webspace and linking and so on, I decided to do a bit of investigation.

Under a pseudonym, I tracked down the person who took the photo of the image Gordon is using via their website. I asked them permission to use their image as an avatar and I have good news for Gordon with this reply:

"Hi John,

Glad you like the image. Go ahead and use it.

Joe "

Thanks I feel better now John. I`m glad you like the picture. I searched for a few hours to get just the right one.

Glad to be back on the net again. I moved into a new house this week and must wait 2 more weeks for my Yahoo internet connection. They must first get permission from NTT. Go to love the bureaucracy in Japan. Rolling Eyes Move 2 blocks, same Ph. # and it takes 2 weeks to get re-connected and this house has always had Yahoo connection in it. Evil or Very Mad

My buddy ran the lodge at Moraine lake and my wife and I got married there in 99.

You are right, it is one of the most amazing places I have ever been.

Love it.
