...or is it with one "F"????
I was thinking about settling there, and does anyone have any info about wages being any lower there for ESL teachers than anywhere else in the country? |

Just Curious,
Were you thinking of settling there because of the drug trade? Or are you now doubting whether you should settle there because of the drug trade? |

Aacpulco wages are fairly low, and while in line with other small markets, there's a higher cost of living to contend with there. One can only cover expenses there, and frugally at that.
Acapulco has seen problems lately, including shootouts between the cops and a rival drug cartel (local police are the other drug cartel under siege). It's started to affect tourists, though only in isolated incidents. T'is a shame. I understand Comandante Calderon has sent the military in. |

You would have more chance with no teaching experience of finding a paying job off the beaten path than you would in a popular tourist area. |
