I'm new to Taipei. I want to get my hair cut. Can anyone recommend a barber shop/hair salon in Taipei or the greater Taipei area? (Maybe the staff can speak a little English..and also a reasonable price)

I'm not in Taiwan yet but if it's anything like mainland China here's what you should do:

Step away from the computer
Leave the apartment
Walk down the street, you'll find about a dozen...

Yes,I got away from the computer. I don't live in an apartment. "Walk......................dozen..." Wrong..more like 2-3..have to walk more than just down the street to find a dozen. I found a good barber shop..older Taiwanese men work there..got a good haircut for a reasonable price. I remember when I was in Beijing,China seeing Chinese give haircuts outside.
