Well, thanks for all the replies so far, although I am not sure of an answer yet.

I don`t think going to the Immigration is such a good idea. Would rather keep it quiet if it`s going to entail problems.

I think if I get the 3 yr re-entry permit and make it back within the time limit, it should be ok.
