I have been teaching English in Guadalajara, Mex. for a year and half.
It takes time to get used to the pace of life (like slow!), the language
barriers, the costs, etc. Mexico is still old world! They are just
getting used to advertising condoms on TV, print, subway bulletins, etc.
Some women are still virgens at 30 years old, and some children
still live with their parents into thier 30's.

Is Chile utltra progressive, fast paced, and a challenge to live in?
Is it true that Chile is a lot like Europe in lifestyle and wages and
attitude of the people?

Enlighten me and let me know!

Well, the both speak Spanish. Other than the toilet water swirling in the opposite direction you'd swear you were in the same country. Just like England and Australia.

I've been here for a month and have had no problem finding female companionship.

I mean, alot of people still live with their parents but they'll still come back to your apt. with you...if that's what you're into.

I don't know how to answer this question without sounding like a scumbag. But, yes, Chile is fun and if you're semi-attractive...you will have a good time.
