Perhaps it's because of people like this:

TW: you've got some nasty foreign viruses there in the FT department. 有外教晚会的时候,千万别忘带着你的口罩,啊!

Sounds like you guys are at the Tourism school or Hua Qiao

It sounds a bit like when I was in Changchun..many of the foreign teachers went out with students from their schools and often it was encourged by the students parents..common to hear from a mother ..she didnt make good grades in school but she brought home a foreigner..

So, any suggestion on how to get rid of them or should I just MYOB pretend that they don't exist at all (or at least this one)?

I'd enjoy hearing about your attempts to get rid of any FT. It'd also be interesting to to watch the troll fest on this board after you describe your attempts.

I'm a little surprised that some of the folks who believe that FTs can do no wrong haven't begun a flame war yet.

Trolls and flame wars are reasons why I'd never do anything or at least tell anyone what I do -- if anything at all. Back in 2005 I posted this http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/job/viewtopic.php?t=25767 and as you can see, I took some heat for telling people what I had done.

Many people will undoubtedly call anyone who even considers reporting their fellow FT's a brown-noser, a rat, a snitch, a butt-kisser, a spy, etc. I guess that's why so many creeps get away with everything since everyone else would just turn a blind eye and say, "Mind your own business." *sigh*

I just read the thread in question, and it didn't seem like you took that much heat. At this point, it serves no purpose to get us dragged back into the debate as to whether or not we should "grass someone up" - although it does need restating that generally speaking, one should not not let their moral indignation cloud objective "judgement"

This being said, your current colleague, whom you referred to previously, does seem like a nasty piece of work, especially considering the fact he is attempting to get recognition for the deeds on his own self-obsessed blog-site. For the record, I suggest that you sit back and MYOB - allow the deluded fool to dig his own hole.
